The Raavan Vadhh

So, i know little about this character Ravaan.

Just because he is in a story with an idealist Mr. Raam.. he plays bad guy. 

But, when you read social media snippets about him- he's knowledgeable, he is a king, he flies a chopper, he is a progressive leader  he is big, he is feared,  he is a family man (kidnapped a the wife of the guy who cut off his sister's nose), has temples built for him and actually has worshippers, and he features in the climax of one of the most important Hindu mythological stories every written. 

Dude. All of the above makes him BAADD!!

Incidentally, the pictures of this character i took this time at Chowpatty help visualise this Zeusness of this character!  

I want to read more about him, get under his skin. Want to know his pov on things, governance, Sita, war, etc.

Duniya Dekhi Hai

A practicing lawyer handles so many kinds of cases  people,  situations,  point of views, emotions,  evidences, etc
Needs to be full of knowledge,  experience,  cross linking and referencing.
Needs to be disciplined,  meticulous,  persistent,  articulate but most importantly cool headed.

At the end of a long day's reflection he must be thinking..  "Maine kitni duniya dekhi hai" .

I wish for all these individuals, to have a family which loves them dearly and allows them to experience the yang of their professional duniya.
May they be loved and cherished and never be judged for their actions.

Then he sleeps in peace,  true to his last thought of the day...  Maine duniya dekhi hai".

Insight: I'm addicted to Facebook.

Symptoms: I have liked hundreds of subjects and pages.
Read everything published.
Like practically 80% of what I see
Share with all or with tagging everything I relate with people.
Take every personality teat that pops up.
I'm sure people have blocked/unfriended/unfollowed me by now.

I'm sure it's a disorder.  And I'm sure it has a terminology.

Need to let go.

Action: I have deleted the app icon from my phone desktop.

Objective: Observe Moderation. Let go.

Result: (anticipated within a week)

Update 26.10.
It sure is an effort to go to the app list and onto Facebook.
I do think,  that instances on being on the page are definitely lesser than before..  But duration??

What did I miss?? Definitely no updates,  definitely no birthday wishes.
I missed reading up full articles from scoop woop.

Damn - need to monitor and update again after a week.

Definitely lesser incidence of getting onto Facebook.
When at leisure,  I spend more time on the app.
Conscious about "reading" articles..  Hence have figured out the missing feeling on the content.

Decision: Will keep it off the screen.

No BFF

It's crazy..  Today I was trying some outfits out.
Wondering what to wear tomm.

I clicked mirror selfies and sent the pictures to my mum.

Then, I wondered Mum??

The realisation dawned I have no girl BFFs!!

Expat Musings

I've spent 90% of my life living in Mumbai. 
The few years I spent in Dubai has left a life long impact on my mind.

Besides the fact I thoroughly enjoyed the DINK (double income no kids) lifestyle,  I cherish how an expat stint replaces many things in life.

Fridays replace Sundays. 
Left hand Drive replace Right hand Drive. 
Nationalities replace Communities. 
Khabus replaces the Paratha. 
Malls replace Parks. 
Sheesha Parlours replace Khao Gallis. 
Dirham replaces the Rupee. 
Malaika Arora Khan gets replaced by Nancy Ajram.
Gold coins for savings replace our Recurring Deposits. 
Jamming sessions replace the Family Dinners. 
MBC replaces Star World. 
Open air camping and barbecue plans replace Tirath yards.

Nothing can replace my life's 10% experience there.

Hi. Long time no see

So, I've always been constantly observing things-people-behavior, thinking, blabbering, scribbling, join dots across lateral subjects, making imaginary stories in my head (like a 5 year old), etc but never really got myself to pen it all down together.

This time again, a friend suggested I do so..
Why? I Asked?
"build your brand" was the answer
and I casually shrugged it off...

The thought although (as we can see) has lingered and I checked if this space is still alive accessible, allows me in (without a password) and most importantly is FREE!!

Since all of the above criteria are met, I'm back (this time though an app over my handheld).

Happy at the moment.
